The environmental impact of civil works undertaken by MPN was given careful consideration in this project at Foxwell Road, Coomera.

The project included the upgrade and widening of Foxwell Road between Coomera Exit 54 and Coomera train station. The existing two-lane road was widened to six lanes and two major intersections were added alongside an upgrade of the existing Foxwell Road.

Stormwater culvert extensions were undertaken for Oaky Creek under the widened road with fish baffles constructed within the culverts to allow for fish movement during times of major flow.

The project was phased to ensure fully operational roads were maintained whilst allowing construction access to the Coomera Town Centre Site.

Significant diversions, alterations and upgrades were completed on the authority services within the area whilst maintaining an existing 710 diameter sewer rising main.

MPN provided initial application and stakeholder assessments and detailed design and construction services. These included the upgrade of authority mains and diversions of existing services whilst maintaining vehicle movements and access to existing properties.
