The residential subdivision at Muller Street, Redland Bay created a total of 116 lots across two stages of development.
Stage 1 (52 lots) was subject of a negotiated and court-approved DA and provided local park areas and ecological corridors.
Stage 2 (64 lots) was a challenging site with flooding and ecological constraints. Coordinated civil and landscape solutions provided award-winning outcomes for the development and residents.
MPN provided proactive solutions including bulk earthworks and lot layout strategies to maximise financial returns to the client and an environmentally sustainable development.
Both stages of development included the reuse and rehabilitation of existing farm dams for an ecological and stormwater detention function. Conveyance of stormwater through both sites using the natural topography was a key aspect of the constraint-driven design.
