Design efficiencies provide significant cost savings

Maintaining the existing suspended slab of the previous tenant resulted in significant cost savings in the construction of this car showroom in Newstead, Brisbane.

The project included full demolition of the existing building with a new steel framed structure erected for the two new showrooms. The existing lower-level parking was maintained with the addition of staff facilities and a disabled access lift to the showrooms above.

MPN worked collaboratively with McKerrell Architects ensuring that despite the limitations of the existing slab all client expectations were met.

The frameless glass facade can be seen from Breakfast Creek Road and is a key design feature of the stunning new showroom.
