Structural services provided by MPN resulted in the creation of Australia’s first purpose built, low cost carrier terminal.
The $100 million redevelopment increased the size of the terminal to over 28,000m². The airport now caters for over 5 million passengers per year, making it the busiest regional airport in Australia, surpassing both Canberra and Cairns.
