MPN demonstrated their unique ability to fuse practicality with creativity when an existing commercial building was repurposed to produce an impactful 219 place child care centre in Kedron.
To create the required floor area an additional floor was constructed within the existing building. MPN were able to work with the client and Buchan Group to eliminate any structural upgrades in accommodating the additional level. Other features include a new entry structure, sections of glass flooring and raising a section of the existing roof structure.
Works also included the demolition of other existing buildings, the refurbishment of an existing corner shop and adjoining building and relocation and re-support of an existing residential house.
