This speciality facility for the Australian Army 5th Aviation Regiment involved the construction of new hangar buildings at the RAAF base in Townsville.
The new facilities incorporated de-humidification and a semi-automated wash facility that improves the serviceable life of the aircraft.
It was critical that MPN were able to manage construction of these buildings within the operational flight apron to avoid disruption to operations. Workshops, a warehouse and maintenance facilities were also part of the project parameters.
