If you are looking for an opportunity in civil drafting, we have a position available based in Brisbane, Queensland. MPN Consulting is looking for someone who is proactive and understands the importance of designing spaces that meet present needs and anticipate future requirements. This is a full-time role starting immediately.
About the role
This role will be responsible for documentation from schematic stage through to detailed documentation for various civil, road, land development and drainage projects. You will work with our team of talented drafters, designers and engineers who will provide mentoring and coaching to further develop your technical and professional skill set.
As a Civil Drafter, you will:
• Discuss project and project requirements with the MPN Project Engineer.
• Prepare the drawing register for project.
• Use general CAD drafting to prepare detailed working drawings. E.g.

- Bulk excavation
- Roadworks and drainage
- Water and sewer

Ensuring designs are checked by designers and engineers.
About you
- 2 years of experience AutoCAD (minimum)
- Proven ability to draft for roadworks and drainage, earthworks, water and sewer
- Familiarity with Australian Standards
- Urban development experience (preferred)
